Help..ESCORT CHROME DIFF?

Hi,
Im considering purchasing a second hand Mark 1 chrome diff, minus the diff centre.the seller says it is off a mark1 or 2 car.
I own a panelvan.
I am in need of finding out whether there is a difference between the sedan and panelvan diffs?

yes you will find the mk1 van diff will be a rear loading diff and the mk2 will be front loading the centre and is not interchangeable ,how ever panelvans may have some odd driveline configs but not to my knowlegde
