Default FPV Open Day 07

Hey guys, just wondering what the plan is with the FPV Open Day.
Have a small chat with ORSM T and we are unsure of what is happening. Was thinking that we probably need to start planning...

l had spoken to Marty and thought it may be a good idea as Craigieburn has it's festival on the same day as the Fpv day and as they have car show on and a parade just like Numerka has that it may be better to go to this event as well maybe as a hole or half go to both as we all know FPV do nothing for us in a way of helping with the club and the area we had last year by hiding us out back...

Craigieburn does get alot of people going and also there is a lot more to do for the kids at the Craigieburn event.

If l still had my car l would be picking to go to Craigieburn as l think the FPV day is overated...

Just my opinion...

I think Craigieburn may be a better option for a Non FPV club such as ourselves. They do nothing to support us, why should we support them?

Well there isnt any reason the club can't run 2 club displays on the same day...
I am sure the club would be split half, half on where to go ...
FPV is a good day to go .. ya meet lots of people and so on .. but we never can win anything cos they dont support our club...

and thats why maybe looking at running 2 events might be a good idea...

I am more than happy to support both events as long as we can get a good turn out on both displays as we got to keep our high level of displays going..

How many members did we gain out of FPV dy last year ???

The committee met tonight and decided the club will have its display at the FPV day this year. They have promised us a better position this year and with little or no details on Craigieburn it is easier to organize in the short term. But if any wish to go to Craigieburn, they will be supported by the club.

I'd be interested, but I don't know much about this ORSM club. Could you provide some details?

My 2cents worth of a xxxl shirt if a may

Run 2 events, free publicity for the club cannot go astray at both events, its a pity the AFF display is full.

Im trying to get more spots, if i can I can squeeze a couple of cars in and you can promote the club, and the forums, that way.

l am pretty sure it's the same as last year Kev, Tony just has to give Andrew at FPV names and plate #'s and everybody goes in together as this is vital on settong up the display....as we did last year.
