Hi guys / gals,
http://www.ford.co.uk/ie/smax/-/smax...n/-/-/-/556590 What do you all think of this? Should Ford Australia import it? I'd seriously consider the 2.5L Turbo jobby : Cheers, monk3y.

i dont know, is there even a market for these things here? looks like the same concept as the Holden Zafira, and that went down the plug hole. Its a million times better looking than the Zafira, but if they were to vbring it here they would have to market it properly and give it a fair go, otherwise its just going to go down the gurgler like cougar, probe, mondeo, ka.

The Windstar or Galaxy would do better here (probably the Windstar) with 3.8L V6 or 2.5L 5, and 2.7L TDV6
-Grand Voyager, Tarago, Carnival all seem to do well here |

Plenty of mini-MPVs have fallen away after their release. Zafira, Premacy and Tacuma are the first that spring to mind. On the other hand, the PT Cruiser has done well for quite some time and Dodge are about to launch the Caliber. (Will it be renamed Calibre for Oz? :P)

well the Toyota Avensis is still around, so maybe this thing has a chance.
Ford aus might be scared of it taking Falcon wagon and Territory sales though, especially at the price it would come in at.

I'd say its only competitors would be the car the created this class of car 10 years ago, the underrated Renault Senic, and the new Mercedes-Benz B Class.
