Some of the Focus wiring diagrams are now available in the Gallery - I will make indeces for them in the next day or so and try to get the rest up in the near future.
Enjoy Russ

Great, thanks for the effort and time that goes into that!
As soon as I get back from the Territory, I'll have brochure scans for the EuroFords done for you also. Tim |

According to my diagram it is located under the bonnet on the LHS towards the windscreen end as you are facing the rear of the car.

I think it might be in the engine bay directly infront of the steering wheel. The connector is for the ECU is directly below the steering wheel. I know this because why I got a new flash for it they forgot to put the cover back on (just left it sitting in the footwell) so I put it back in myself

How is your chip? How much was it and what brand did you use? Has it done anything for fuel consumption?

Hey russ, i checked where u said but i could not see it. I also removed the plastic panel from the driverside footwell. Checked all under there and still cant find it. I need the number to give to person who is selling me a turbo kit. I think it's "XSU1" - thats what the sticker says in between the door jam, but people are teling me not to trust that number as it may be incorrect. Do ya think I should call ford or something to find out??
Thanks in advance blah, riz Last edited by Resty; 15-04-2005 at 04:28 PM. |

Calling Ford is a good idea, I am suprised its proving hard to find, only so many places it can hide. In my EF Falcon it is located behind the passenger side footwell plastic cover, but I have no sighted the one in the Focus yet, mainly because I haven't pulled it apart.
Calling Ford might be the go. Tim |

Here is the more detailed diagram - the Item numbered "1" is the PCM. This suggests it might be up under the dash.

ok, i think i found it, however, i can only get to it from the driverside footwell. I can see it there but the sticker with the code on it is facing upward. Pain in the royal really! I'll have to try again when I have some more light to play with. Thanks for the diagrams btw.

Hi guys, I'm new to the site and wondering if you could help me out. I've been building a clubman powered by a 2002 Focus 2l Zetec engine and the project is starting to come to the end finally. One of the last things to do is to get the engine running and here is my problem. The wiring loom supplied with the engine is incomplete and not marked in any way so attaching it to the engine is proving problematic. My first choice would be to use an aftermarket computer and custom loom but to get the car complied it has to use the stock computer, induction and sensors. I need to get a wiring diagram with colour coding so I can rebuild the part of the loom that is missing as well as to be able to hook it up to the engine. Can anyone help me at all?
Cheers, Phil. |

I need to replace a knock sensor to see if it fixes my pinging problem. According to the diagram in this thread it seems like it is under the exhaust manifold and not the intake as in other info I found. It's this correct for Australian models of Ford Focus? 2.0 Zetec.
Also it said I didn't have permission to view the link/gallery... |
