My favourite motoring journo Joshua D at it again...
http://www.news.com.au/technology/in...d064dc7e9e1ab3 Reports Everest fire as lowlight, funny no mention of the 5 Colorado customers having suffered actual "thermal incidents" (aka fire) and recall of 26,000 vehicles affected. Must be because GM products don't need bad publicity??? http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news...e-hazard-32113 To balance the report, JD did report finding that fire was caused by disconnected/lose battery terminal. |

I'd trust what my 5 year old niece tells me about cars before I'd read any more of the click-bait crap he keeps on churning out.

Chequebook journalism at its finest.
Just because Holden comped him an SS doesn't give him licence to rubbish the competition - especially when he overlooks his sides several fires; highlighting one Ford fire. Funny thing to ponder, after 2017 where's the douche going to get his V8's from? He's a small voice in a paper with a shrinking circulation so I don't think any Euro manufacturers are going to give him a V8. Way to shoot yourself in the foot Joshua you blowhard feaces merchant.

I do have a problem with lack of objectivity in not reporting the Colorado fires the result of a faulty part and subject to a recall and promoting a single ford incident caused by single tech error and not the subject of a recall. Fine if both are reported by me. |

typical of all of these year end roundups. nobody can remember anything that happened in the first 10 months of the year and they all concentrate on Nov and Dec

Well the article was 5 highlights and 5 lowlights, so Everest was simply one of a few lowlights according to him.

Isn't this the same flog that said the SC 5.0 FPV GT was the biggest disappointment of the year, not all that long ago?
