they have a Test n Tune running from 11-4pm, the track should still have some bite left in it, depends on what they do with it afterwards. so could maybe see some quicker times then normal.

Weather outlook for Wednesday is meant to be good as well.
There's a mention elsewhere that Vevapower and I think BEN189 is heading out on Wed night as well.

Thanks mate, was good to meet a few forum members.
Well it was a slightly disappointing night didn't get a time that i was overly happy with. Best of 13.4 will post up time slips when i get a chance. Had problems getting off the line all night then on the last run nailed the start but choked on the 1st to 2nd change

I was out watching last night, ben189 seemed to have some issues too, seems eventhough track was prepared well there was traction issues, lots of leaks early on too!

not sure bout the actual weight but, it was full street trim, bout 3/4's petrol im only 70kg's but... And the but really doesnt help the time had things not go my way and didn't get somewhere to leave my wheels so i had my 2 20's and trolley jack in the boot. So i think all the extra weight didn't help

Don't waste your time with semi comps you need MT or Hoosiers. How where you using the clutch slipping it to feed in the power or dumping?
How long did you allow between runs for the clutch to rejuvenate? What size front tyres where you using and pressure? Rear tyres and pressures? Bump stoppers installed? PM me if you do some practice test launches and setup etc. |

ET streets,4000+rpm clutch work and no mercy is the only way to pull a respectable number out of a manual.Make sure the burnout gets into 2nd and makes a nice/short plume of smoke.Start at 20psi cold.
PS,I ran 118mph with 320rwkw and auto so your mph for power is spot on as mine was considered on the money by quite a few. NO MERCY.......and be prepared for a tow truck or maybe trailer it their for piece of mind? |

for wheels fronts were my 20's on 42psi as i Dont think 16 steel's fit over the prem pbr brakes? And Rears were my 17 stockies and 18psi which might have been a little low? One of the biggest things holding me back is my suspension as Ive got coilovers that are set quiet hard think next time I'll throw my stock springs back in

18psi definitely too low for a street tyre. I found when lowering my psi I didn't get much benefit going under 25psi, but my fastest times were all done on 35psi. With your extra power though I think you'll just spin up like crazy on 35.
