Default BA Premium ICC -> dual zone

Hey guys I had the premium ICC in my car as standard and it was taken out and stuffed. I then got my hands on a dual zone ICC and after a few teething issues I got it powered up and then took it to ford to have the codes changed... When I got there they put the reader on it and got everything to work except the air con, (yes I know it’s a dual zone) but I don’t care about the dual zone just as long as I can get it to work in single mode… can this be done? And I’m in Sydney so there’s no way I can bring the car in. any help would be much appreciated

Tell the ford dealer to reprogram your HIM to dual-zone mode, then you should get basic aircon/heater functionality.

Your best to try what Mafia has suggested. We do not deal with conversions from manual to climate control.

cheers

The BA Falcon was fitted with an all new heater/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) system. The HVAC unit incorporates a HIM (HVAC Integrated Module) that controls all aspects of the units operation. The HIM is connected to the CAN (Controller Area Network) serial data bus through which all sensor and command inputs required to operate the climate control system flows.

See? easy : gone are the days when you could hook up to the fuse box, run a wire via a on/off switch...

Well we live and learn don’t take your car to ford dealership they have no idea. But can anyone send me a wiring diagram for the left mirror “ambient sensor” as I want to wire one up without the full wiring harness.
