Hi,
does anyone know how much is involved in converting a 6cyl corty into a 8 cyl corty? what do i need to do for it to be registerable? |

engineers will provide you with the info you need. and will require engineers certificate for rego. I have been wanting to build one for years, unfortunately never have enough funds to get the project off the ground. Ebay sometimes have unfinished projects- which may end up cheaper than starting from scratch. If you can find one that has or had a v8 in it already- this would be your cheapest option. To buy one already done, be prepared for a price tag of anywhere from 10g up.(depending on condition). Hope this helps. There are a few nice registered cortinas on MCF forums, try posting in there for some better info.
