Tis a good review and result
But the public still are going to think that all large cars use $500 worth of petrol each week than a Toyota Starlet. I reality it's probably $30/week depending on km's.... |

Since smaller cars don't depreciate as much, that'd mean the parts are more expensive and thus servicing costs are too. Gotta love the reality of things.

This was posted before in another recent thread...don't remember which one...
It was a good read though...and it goes to show that despite the media hype surrounding the VE, it's really quite run of the mill. Glad to see that they recognise the improvements in Ford. I hope that others do too.

I still can;t get over how people dislike the boot that doesn't have a flat floor. Ford should offer a No cost option, a piece of carpeted wood that covers the indent, then they would complain that there is wasted space under the wood.

I'ts good to see that it isn't only the performance Falcons doing well, Good to see it so far ahead of the Holden. I found the Accord to be a bit of a surprise.

Read the comments at the bottom, if you can be bothered. Always good for half an hours worth of laughs :.
Good win for the Falcon, now all we need is for ford to advertise the fact. Last edited by FlipXW; 29-07-2008 at 11:19 PM. |

yep awesome win for falcon... my brother owns an accord and it is one hell of a car so for the falcon to beat it, it has done VERY well
as for the cons, don't you think its funny how a non-flat boot is one of the only things they can say negatively about it? goes to show it's an awesome car because to me a flat boot would be worse hehehe things roll around too much! |

All Ford AUS has to do now is let people know what a good package they have on their hands or even better, send it to the USofA to help bail out Ford over there..... I'm not holding my breath for either of these things to happen BTW.
Nice result for the G6E, Might see If i can point the wifie in that direction when we upgrade her car next year. |

But the FG clearly has improved. "We might not spend a billion on our cars, but least they end up a billion dollars."

AAhh, the sweet sound of more success for FORD. I reckon its a winner without doing all thes super hype selling and advertising that holden are doing trying to sell there second rate cars. The FG from its inception was a car to be reckoned with and will continue to be. I only wish i had the 47 grand to go and purchase 1..Holden should be afraid, no, very, very afraid..lol

Ford should use that artice about the G6E as a part of an advertising campaign so everybody can read how good the FG is.

But if thats in the top three things that they can fault on the car then the FG is one great model to come out of broady. I just hope that the punters have a look at the car when they are in the market.
