this afternoon i was sitting at home watching the GP with the Balcony door open (18th floor apartment) when i heard one of the most amazing exhaust notes i have ever heard. I immediately knew it was something special so i ran onto the balcony to investigate. i get there just in time to see what looked like a Veyron turning into the Aston Martin Dealer across the road. at this point i couldn't be sure it was a Veyron so i decided to check it out.
the pics below are the result. i never thought i'd see a Veyron on the road. i'm Still Grinning inside. :

the lesser cars being Brand new Aston Martins and Rolls Royces. hahaha (you can see a brand new DB9 convertible in the pics)
i couldn't believe how throaty the exhaust was. i was expecting it to be very electronic sounding. BTW i'm still Grinning. i might go down and kiss it goodnight.

Id hate to have on to be honest. camping next to it with a rifle, getting paranoid at all the other cars that litter the australian streets. ie VN commodores, camrys and Hyundais. probably all eyeballing your car in awe while driving of a cliff. finding a parking spot that doesnt double up as a dumb *** thoroughfare. too much white hairs. although....

That car gives me so many emotions, but not seeing it in the flesh makes it difficult to gauge. I guess another way to describe it would be sporting an al dente after looking at that photo.

The Veyron was in town for the GP, and was on display at the GP with an Aston Martin DBS and Rolls Royce. I guess Aston Martin are looking after it, before it goes away overseas.
