Default Broken Pedal Cluster

Hi All,
I have a 1999 festiva that the bracket holding the clutch pedal (pedal cluster i think is its technical name) has broken... can anyone advise me of how to get the damn thing out and if the brake pedal is supposed to come with it... i know it sounds really dumb but i have called my car every name under the sun and it still wont play
