DBA Street Performance
These brake pads are for drivers seeking improved braking performance over traditional OE brake pads. DBA Street Performance is the next step up for all vehicles, says DBA.
DBA recommend Street Performance brake pads for daily driver and performance vehicles, 4WDs and SUVs. They are also compatible with light commercial and trade vehicles. DBA recommends using these brake pads with their T2 or T3 slotted rotors for optimum braking power.
Made from semi-metallic friction material, the pads have a F-F class friction with an average of 0.35 mu from low to high operating temperatures. Their efficiency remains constant up to 438°C.

DBA Xtreme Performance
These brake pads are for drivers seeking high initial bite and friction consistency from low to high temperatures. Ideal for performance track days and 4x4s towing heavy loads including high GVM and Armoured vehicles.
DBA recommends Xtreme Performance brake pads for street performance and police pursuit vehicles, as well as club track days, heavy towing and upgraded 4x4s; and T3 slotted rotors in the 4000 and 5000 series for best stopping performance.
DBA states they have excellent high temperature performance with optimal friction performance up to 550°C. Made from semi-metallic, carbon fibre friction material, they have a G-G classes friction with an average of 0.45 mu from low to high temperature applications.

My Experenice

They are dusty and noisy ( Squeal on light braking )

Glued failed on the backing plate, causing the backing plate to shift to 1 side

I did make an enquiry through a reseller and DBA has advised this for anyone wanting to buy them

Got 3 hard stops in them before fade

Always good to get any feedback on brake components whether it is negative or positive. People must also remember that all cars and driving conditions will be different and the risk of noise and dust is always higher in any performance brake pads.
My concern is you faded the brake pads after 3 hard stops ? SP pads will not be any better at all. What driving conditions did you put them through?
I was at Wakefield having a small display stand earlier this year when a Ford driver run out of pads. We happened to have some DBA XP pads for the 6 pot Brembo's on display and the customer fitted them and was able to run the rest of the day. Same scenario with a Mustang but again everyone drives different and these pads will not be for everyone and are not are fully fledged track pad for future reference.

My review was honest and humble

Consider also i am testing out RDA S and D at the moment

XP Perform much better with DBA 4000 and above

I purchased another set of XPs so will review again once the C5s are sold and 322mm Turbos are fitted

I also run XP on the rear with Territory 328mm

It was appreciated and as mentioned , it is always good to have feedback. I am still curious to know the conditions of the 3 hard stops to fade them out . You can PM me if you don't want to put it here. Just reading your reply above i was wondering why you are offloading the C5 set up to go to the 322mm ?
There would be a carbon and nickel difference in DBA to RDA rotors hence the braking difference and people would not be aware of this.

No problem at all,

I carried out DBAs own fade test to see how they hold up, Hard Stops from 100 to 5

I also got DBAs engineer to send me their test results see below

It has been more than a privilege to own a set of C5s, i was very lucky to have found them, restore and enjoy them. I can see other forum members are chasing them, so i am more than happy to pass them on to another forum member so they too, can enjoy them.

I did not this, thanks for letting me know,
