On my recently aquired 2010 Fiesta Sync Screen I have paired the phones and the bluetooth blue light is on, we can dial out on the phones (android and Iphone 6) through the system OK but if you call either phones from another external phone they just go to message bank. I've looked through the menus to see if there is a master reset for the system but cant find any. There are no problems with the phones when not associated with the car. Thanks

I would guess the phone is too new for the vehicle. There was a later blue tooth module available years ago but none since. You would have to compare module numbers to see what level you have, in saying that the newer module may not even be compatible with newer phones or more so newer software updates. There is a phone compatibility list on the Ford website as per below, but its for the SYNC system which I am not sure you have.

Thanks GT, We got the car off our daughter and she has been using phones more modern that ours on the system. I'm not sure weather it is a sync system either. Might have to wait until the next Ford service and see what they think. I have been looking at utube videos and it sounds like our system could need a reboot like a computer as they can apparently become confused so trying to figure out how to that. Thanks for replying.

I’ve seen a ws fiesta doing some odd things with Bluetooth and the radio not turning off. Resetting by disconnecting power fixed it.

Thanks Raceteam, so by disconnect would that be just a connection to the actual unit or would disconnecting the battery be the better option.

I just pulled the battery earth off - couldn't be bother looking for the right fuse!
Also, try deleting then re-pairing the phones from the system. The other thing to watch out for, is if the radio is off, then the bluetooth also behaves strangely, not connecting properly - got to have the radio on before the phone will connect. |
