I don't know why everybody's lingering on this one. Its just another bit of Americana now, like Arnotts 'cookies'. Time to move on. Ford users are not the only ones whose toes have been trodden on - look at the apologetic note in the Toyota section. The only funny thing is the insight into American tastes provided by the popular Camry section - there are Camry enthusiasts in America! I can't imagine such a thing but I guess in a nation that thinks Budweiser is a great beer anything's possible.

I would suggest that telling members they can "come back" to your site is playing a childish game where you are asking people to make a choice.

The simple fact is that people are not required to make a choice, they make their own and the forums accomodate accordingly. Users should not even be asked to makea choice or have it suggested that they should.

At the end of the day, ff.com is, as far as i am concerned, dead and buried. And Im not saying that because I am involved on this site.
honestly I only took perhaps 2 or 3 threads out of the hundreds of threads that I have posted on f.com. And for that I apologize.
I am pretty much done with this topic anyhow. FF.com is back and again I am only posting it here cuz this is where I pointed the former members of ff.com.
and now that its back I am giving them another choice.
Again totally up to the members. come or go. Don't matter to me. its their choice. I really don't think I will be on FF.com much longer anyhow.
I will get them back on their feet but that will prolly be about it.
I will prolly hang out for approx 6 months and then re-evaluate and see what direction the site is headed.
Thanks for your time.
Greg

2 or 3??? Now that IS a blatent lie and you know it! I posted almost ALL of the threads that seemingly had been started by you there, after they had been started on here.. on another thread that got deleted. The threads, if not with exact titles, were slightly changed in an attempt to make them look different, but the idea/topic was exactly the same. And I can tell you for a FACT that it was not 2 or 3. Please don't be a bullИИИИ artist.

edit: I promised myself I would ignore your posts. Sorry Admin.. I failed. Just going to add you to the ignore list right now.

John AKA lunaticsvt put that filter in when this site opened. Aparently a lot of folks were posting the link and he had had enough. And I do not have enough Skillz to figure out how to remove that filter and John and I are not on speaking terms so it looks like it stays for now.

sorry bout that.....

Word replacement using swear word filter?

Not hard to undo if you're a moderator/admin.

Didn't we have this thread a few years ago on FF.com when we all left BON. I don't see the need on bashing other sites here. If you don't like the way a certain forum operates then don't go there.

I have fond memories of .com. Thats where I first started, thats where I met all of my mates (well nearly all) who I chat to on this place, and its also where I met my current partner! If it wasnt for that site, I wouldnt have met Eamon and our son wouldnt exist! So I find it a little sad what has happened to it and the uncertainty of its future.

This place is great though, and a lot less politics makes for a much better site. More cars and good stuff and a lot less stuffing around. The admin and mods here probably put in a lot more work than we realise which makes it the place it is. I will never go back to the old place but I will always have fond memories of it.
