It only makes 260 kw on 98 Octane Premium Unleaded. I'm sure if it ran on standard unleaded like it supposedly can it would barely make anymore power than the 250kw 5.7 it replaced. Good move Holden, you sure can BS with the best of them.
Also note that displacement on demand and variable cam timing are fitted but Holden didn't use them. I'm sure they will keep that up their sleeve for when the bloated VE arrives to keep the economy within supertanker extremes. |
