The Series prody guys prefer the 5.7 for racing too.
Dont forget its only just matched the BAXR8 power figures now anyway!
Thats fine but the prody guys make up pithle of the volume.

As a matter of interest anyone know annual unit sales of SS and XR8 ?

A touch more torque probably in a lighter package.

Although the BFXR8 with 6speed auto is a more refined car (the extra value u get with the SSZ & its RRP$49990 make it value i dont think i could ignore if i was on the market)

It only makes 260 kw on 98 Octane Premium Unleaded. I'm sure if it ran on standard unleaded like it supposedly can it would barely make anymore power than the 250kw 5.7 it replaced. Good move Holden, you sure can BS with the best of them.
Also note that displacement on demand and variable cam timing are fitted but Holden didn't use them. I'm sure they will keep that up their sleeve for when the bloated VE arrives to keep the economy within supertanker extremes.
