FG F6 in black with dark argents for mine - understated but aggressive. Fantastic looking car.
FPV GT's can look great as long as not overdone. BA/BF still look ok despite their age, especially in the right colour. I don't know older cars that well, but i'm sure some classic Falcons look fantastic too. All AU/EB range just woeful. ps: Dislike all Falcons with lairy flouro/pastel colours, 'racing stripes', big wings and so on - but that's just me! Last edited by MercuryT; 16-03-2014 at 01:01 PM. |

In order, from favourite...
XA GT AU3 XR6/8 (with the rebel kit) XC Cobra Any X series coupe XY GT XP coupe EL XR EB GT XD, XE, XF don't do a lot for me, but I'd be happy to own any XD/XE V8. Pre XP also don't do a lot for me, but as above, I'd own any one of them. B series do nothing at all for me, perhaps the most boring Falcon ever made. And unfortunately Ford went for the Camry look with FG.

Guess sales suggest the BA/BF were in fact great looking cars (which they are) - especially compared to a Westinghouse on wheels with a wing (EB GT)
The FG (especially FPV versions) looks nothing like a Camry? Can't believe I've read that nonsense!! |

Those fog lights embedded in the front bar of the EL GT make it look like an abortion but the rest of the car is good I reckon.

It must be the EF for me as I currently have four in the driveway. Plain old dirty gli does it for me. I like the shape of both sedan and wagon.

Hey guys
being a ford man all my life I have many I find appealing. I have owned many of their models from XR to BF and I am quite happy with my present BF GTP so I guess it would have to be the BF GTP for me. But I can see why there would be so many different favourites amongst our ford owners family Tony |

EF all the way. From base GLI with 12 spoke hubcaps, to XR6 with the slick 5 spoke swastika wheels, to Fairmont/Ghia with the special front end and the magnificent NF fairlane. Beautiful cars, 4wd ride height and all. Left the entire Holden VR/VS range in the dirt by a country mile with the slick interior and futuristic styling. No wonder they sold so many.

I've always wanted an EL GT badly. Looks so unique, sinister and exclusive, gorgeous interior and engine sound. No impression of cut corners, with even a carbon fibre propshaft. A true Grand Tourer.
Aside from that the XA-C hardtop beltline and proportions are borderline exotic. |
