Hi all.
I have a Durango DSC210 and it got wet today, I let it dry for a bit, I took off it went about 3 metres then stopped, now the motor just jerks a little but I think it's the ESC that is dead the fan on top doesn't spin up either any ideas? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |

I do not think the durango is waterproof? Sounds to me like the ESC got water into it. I might have a turnigy trackstar ESC spare in my shed. You can have it for postage.

I don't think it is either.
The ESC lights up, now the motor just winds but doesn't actually move anywhere, I'm not sure what's wrong. If it is the ESC I will pay you something for it plus postage. It lights up, but the fan doesn't spin or nothing. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |

i would have a go at drowning the electricals with crc 556(water displacer), nothing ventured ......... nothing gained.
just make sure it is well dryed out before you go putting power into it, or you may have a bar-b-qued rc car. Last edited by mik; 15-07-2013 at 06:42 PM. Reason: add |

Depends on 'how' wet you got it as to if its stuffed. But from what is going on it sounds like it got fairly wet. It will take a little water, i clean my cars with a slow spray from my hose just not directly at the ESC/Motor
