Yes, 435 HP, 405 lb. ft. TQ for the Lincoln 3.7L EcoBoost engine is possible today. Hennessey Performance announces their MaxBoost 435 package for the the 2010 Lincoln MKS. 1/4 Mile: 13.08 sec @ 105.51 mph
Not bad for a 6 banger and a heavy boat, eh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULdZ33-ShhA&feature=fvhl At $3,495 USD it seems pricey for what you get; dual CAI, software, Borla exhaust, send in your headrest cores for a pair of embroidered headrests, and some badges. Plus you do all the work. Seems you could buy the software only and do the rest yourself cheaper, if you didn't want the badges and headrests. There is a 445 HP kit for the Taurus SHO but they install it. Steve

That's pretty good for a barge like that.
Good job - wouldn't mind one of those, just get rid of the ugly grill and the barge bum!

We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about. “Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”. |

Theyre doing 14.2's stock standard already. Damn thats an awesome engine!
The price doesn't seem too bad really. A Borla exhaust is of the highest quality and the Hennesy Tuning would be high quality too. Does it come with a warranty? hehe

It would be cool to see a Flex do that too. I drove the standard Flex EcoBoost, and you put your foot down, and it's like "crap, hold on!" Amazing engine!

Here's their page for it..... http://www.hennesseyperformancestore...xboost435.html It's got a 6 speed automatic. I don't know what the rear gear is. Yeah, it sounds like it shifts slushy because aluxury car is supposed to be smooooootthhh......but it is a performance car. In reviews I don't remember there being any complaints about the shifts. Remember, it's geared for mileage. The SHO might be a little more aggressive. Steve

14sec qtr for a factory 1950kg car is pretty bloody good - but geez it makes our G6ET look like a deadset corporate weapon.
