Lime Glaze ...... If thats what it was I would stick to it. Not just because you are keeping true to the tag but it is a brilliant colour ..... way better than any other green. Its fairly rare, stands out and done new ...... well you cannot go past it.
I am not a stickler for sticking to tags but in this case you have best of both worlds ..... the perfect 70's colour and a matching car. Of course you can paint it what ever colour you like as its yours but its like changing a Mulberry to Beige (Sorry George ... you know I love your coupe ) | [/url] |

i like lime glaze but would probably choose it with no stripes. i am sure this car is lime glaze and to me it looks so much more vibrant than the superbirds

choose carefully, maybe think back to what colours you have liked over the last 20-30 years
you are not alone if confused. i did go through around 10 shades of red, blue, yellow and green for mine and even when it was in the shop, there was a chance of gunmetal grey. it is not an easy decision - i always wanted apollo blue, but with a brown interior, (imo) i was limited to white, red or yellow. i had always hated red cars, because every second car was red. however after 19 years with pepper red, i could not imagine my car any other colour. my point is choose carefully and within a few years, you will love the colour for ever - providing you don't go too silly with your choice that is. there are however, many examples to give you an idea and once you have chosen, you will not look back |

If you want another spanner in the works - the new Mazda 2 (which is owned by Ford anyway) have a beautiful lime green colour, very similar but updated and rich in pearl/metallic effect.
But old skool Lime Glaze is awesome too!

I think like Mike does..... the lines of the coupe are perfect for showing off a pearl/metallic effect.

lime glaze is a very cool colour and real in your face just perfect for a tough coupe!! And if you change your mind you could always go jet black!! But i would be biased there lol

well i finaly worked out how to attach piks (im a bit slow) so this is the car up to the srage it was at yesterday when i confurmed the colour choice LIME GLAZE! with black trim. its been a 2 stage resto first i got all the rust i could find done than got her back to drive around as my paint and panel shop was mooving. now she is back fo the paint (and to remove all the rust found after stripping and sanding) there is always more but still a very solid body to begin with. hope you like it.
ps feel free to move this to the right place im a simple man and have just put it on the end of my last post as its a follow on to the help you all gave me chosing the colour. thanks tim |

Wild plum is a XA colour isn't it? One of the best Ford hues IMO.
But Im with the others, lime glaze is good; Tango is a fave for an XB aswell.
