A Vision is on offer at the Ford dealer up the road from us.

As for the ad, why change it ?

Heaps and heaps of girls go into the dealers and ask for a Magenta Fiesta, get told you can't have one and walk out again. I was told this by a dealer, he said he could have sold heaps more if he cold get Magenta (well sold but not and delivered in 6 months :P) I don't think the add is playing fair either. It's like advertising a Ferrari and selling a Falcon. Well not really but it's still dodgy

Sounds like it is doing just what an ad should do

For every 10 that walk out, one will stay and get suckered into another colour like many on here did.

Ha ha I was one of those girls wanting to get the Fiesta in the magenta and the dealer told me it was the morello but I know it's not morello, I wanted to laugh in his face when he told me that. I'm still deciding between moondust silver and vision

The told my wife the same thing when she said she wanted the "lipstick" colour but in the end she got a silver one and is very happy with the silver but she does like both the blue's we drove it 1000km's yesterday and are doing another 300 in a minute. It will have done 12,000km's then. It's developed a rattle under the plastic in the drivers side front pillar but apart from that all good. Yesterday was the first time we have driven in on "smooth" roads inside Melbourne (we live in the country) and it was sitting on 5.3/5.4l /100 on the freeways. It sat on 6.0 once we were back on the rougher bush highways. That's still on the factory run in spec oil so I think it will see 4.9/5.0 in the city at some stage just like the sticker says
