Black oil doesn't mean anything mate - oil is designed to pick up particulates and carbon.

I have always suppled my own oil (manufacturer specced) when the dealer has serviced my cars.

Err, yeah. They have to drive it on the boat.
Just change it at 7500km.

Yep, fully understand mate.

I'll stick with what I've done for the last 35 years

Has not yet put me wrong.

I listen to all opinions but only take on board what makes sense

Yeah they did, didn't you see it on the news dude?

Nah I meant they bring it to our docks on a ship then to the dealer by a big tow truck that has like 5-6 fiesta's on it... like THIS
