Went in my first powerlifting comp on the weekend and really enjoyed it. I'm going in the National Deadlift Comp in December and am hoping to win the NT division.
Anyone else here compete or thinking about it? |

Mate of mine used to do it. He has since switched to bodybuilding.
What is your weight and stats for everything? Good luck with your comp and keep us posted. |

Bloody good numbers there mate.
Well done and good luck with the deads in December. My knees (and my age) stop me from getting into a good dead position so I use Romanian deads and get a good feel from those. But my weights are no where near your numbers. How old are you and how tall? How long training etc.

Sucks about your knees, once they go you're pretty much finished on heavy deads and especially squats. Here's a vid of my 240kg deadlift from the comp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2utwsCET6Dc I have a video of the 252.5kg but it only shows the lockout. |
