There is a mob somewhere putting xr and gt front bars on the standard ba's and retaining the standard headlights, that looked really good and fairly unique maybe someone can remember who?

Was a bit of a stunt for FPV Open Day in 04 or 05 from memory, made by the engineeers in a similar deal to how they made DRIF6.

Loooong gone now though, was only ever a shell, never had any running gear.

I hate holden going on about their V6. Now every loon calls a six cylinder a V6.

Remeber Nikki, there's a reason why BMW keep thier straight six design..it's balanced and runs smoother. V6's are out of balance by design and need some nifty engineering to solve the issues.

Just lower your BA and do the suspension and fits some nice mags. It'll look good.

Here is a pic of my BA ute XL V8

Base model rubber mats & all.

Outside lowered, no badges and fairlane front lights grill bumper chrome strips.

Very little invested $200 for the grille, IMO looks sharp and I never see another

just an idea

No, it cost a litte more , but the grill is $200. It fits where a std grill comes out. I believe a fairmont grille with a chrome surround is even cheaper

You can swap the headlights Fairlane / Fairmont are full chrome XT/XR/Ghia are black & chrome. (the dealer swapped these from a fairmont without charge as he didn't even realise they were different, which means, somewhere out there there is a Fairmont with black lights.)

The mirror caps are fairlane ghia and are $85 a pair. I can't believe I dont see more of these.

The lower turning lights were about $75 and the wiring is already there.

All up the dealer charged me $370 think.

So it looked good then I scratched the bumper so I fiited the lower bumper section and the chrome strips all up about a $1100 inluding paint. The bumper is barely noticible and you wouldn't bother except I had to buy one anyway.

Its also lowered $800

and debadged except for the V* badge of course $0

Cheered up an XL SE pack for not a lot of cash. Notice I still run std 16 x 6.5 rims as I've spebnt enough on tyres for the TS to last a lifetime.
