Im not a fan of the lights.... but i would love the front bumper! I think that the headlights and bumper fit straight onto the MK6... its only an update, not a MK7.. lol

It's called new for old replacement boys. Write your car off in the first year of ownership and you just might get lucky.. lol.

Anyone notice this line at the end of the paragraph?
"And the sporty Fiesta Zetec model will be even hotter with a number of exciting enhancements"
I think we may get the Zetec S!!!!! That means I can get all the parts here rather than the UK!!!

It could make sense as the current Zetec isn't much better than a LX, if they want to really give it a sporty feel then the Zetec S would make sense as they just get them off the factory floor and ship them here...
Well if they do release them here then my Fiesta will get some bits locally rather than the UK.
Don't know if I'd trade mine in for one though as I hate the new interior and lights. But if they do mechanically enhance the new Zetec then my car will go back to Ford in favour of a new one...

one thing im confused about... the zetec S has same power as the aussie delivered Fiesta.. but zetec S does 0-100 in 9.8 seconds.

I know that the zetec S has marginally stiffer and lower suspension. Could this be the reason for the faster time? maybe the time difference is all in getting off the line..?

Most of it comes from getting the power to the ground and with a suspension setup the same or very close to a ST it can get that power down very well.

i asked teki since he got his car lowered if hes found it easier to get off the line..
i find it quite difficult actually. the car either bogs down or wheel spins its tits off.

umm, i dont think theyre close enough actually

its lack of ability in the top end really hurts with the longish gearing

Hmmmmmmm, your bagging out our engine Josh.... but how many Ks do you have? With 17700km on mine, always on BP Ultimate and sythetic oil, mine runs GREAT into redline. Come to think about it, it loves being in it! Hell, turns heads when i give it from 3000rpm

Hmm, But how does it play once you actually PASS the redline? Cuz my engine power cuts off rudely once i enter the redline. Its extremely noticeable, but only once the duratec passes red which I dont really do all that often anyway..
