-Worst Junes sales since 2012 -Ford Numbers (7155, down 4.5 per cent, 6th place) EcoSport - 39 Endura - 206 Escape - 335 Everest - 616 Falcon - 0 Fiesta - 0 Focus - 344 Mondeo - 51 Mustang - 369 Ranger 4x2 - 455 Ranger 4x4 - 4396 Territory - 0 Transit Custom - 238 Transit Heavy - 106 Everest seemed to have a good month as did Ranger 4x4 (Ford Ranger 4396, Toyota HiLux 3891). Mustang lead it segment.

Well, looks like my prediction that Kia would take Ford again before Ford took 3rd spot didn't take long to come to fruition, that Mitsubishi leapt them both is of interest too.
That Triton is certainly making headway, i'm seeing them everywhere. |

For some reason VFACTS separates 4x2 and 4x4

Seriously, what Ford DH approves a vehicle like this for our market knowing that it's getting canned in Europe.. If Hilux and Ranger had different model designations for 2wd vss 4wd, the largest selling vehicle last month was a Ford
..........Ranger......Hilux Total......4851........5319 2x..........455........1503 4x.........4396........3814 This would see Ranger in #1 and Hilux in #2 |

Now its an issue with 4x2 product, Ford just dont support Ranger in 4x2 guise, they don't build enough or stock enough and they never do campaigns on them.

With the uncertainty of the Federal election having passed and the first rate cut by the RBA at the start of June, it seems like neither of these had any impact to lift car sales.
