Hi Guys,
Somewhere I saw a thread that discussed, amongst other issues, early Australia whiskies. I am 65 and I remember as a kid with my Dad in hotels say late 1950s/early 1960s he would sometimes order a whisky. My Dad always lived "on the edge" as far as everything including alcoholic spirits, and Johnny Walther was thought to be way out of his class. He used to drink an Aussie whisky. I remember he would buy half and quarter bottles. Do any of you guys what brand this whiskey may have been?? I am trying to put a narrative history of my life, and to be honest, I don't have much time remaining. Regards Doug [email protected] |

I suggest you Google whisky forums. I go to forums for any information, I have a very old Australian made butcher knife and have been searching everywhere to find info but no luck so far.
I'm your age as well and yes, the years are ticking by. |
