What a stinker!!!

Here in Adelaide, we had quite a few days in a row of 40+ temperatures.

When my wife emptied the EF of the shopping, she left behind a pack of mincemeat in the boot, in the sun over the weekend.

The smell defies description and despite washing the entire boot, the smell has infused into the whole interior of the car.

Now she's using my beloved BA until I can get the smell out of the car!

She drives like Mrs Magoo, so I'll be checking the For Sale section for Blueprint BA panels and someone to repair scuff marks on mags. :

My gf left a salmon paddie in my car once tucked under the seat. I then parked the car up for a week while working in Nanutarra, so a mixture of 50-53 degress heat and a week old soggy paddie left a smell that scarred me for life

ahahah my dad pranged a work car into the back of another car back when he was young and VERY drunk on one christmas eve on the way back from the butcher and pub. from the impact the meat went under the seat, and in his panic he hid the car. about a week later got a phone call, that the cops had found the car and was in the impound. his boss went and picked up the car, opening the door to a smell which made his boss vomit. he managed to keep his job.

Mould in the air vents in the BA was enough for me

speaking of, whats a good way to fix that, my ac is getting a little smelly sometimes :(

If you really want to keep the car get onto an industrial cleaning mob. They do have some special chemicals that can nuetralise bad odours.

The smell and bacteria might not be that good for your health either.

If you speak to the right people you should be able to get onto the guys that do death clean ups, yes that's right the clean ups after people die and are left in a house (or where ever) for a long time before being found.

Don't want to be insensitive here but I think that the products that they would use could help you.

Or a Glen 20 bomb.

1/2 a plastic bottle of iced coffee rolled under the seat, then exploded some time later ...... how long it was there I dont know but had to remove the seat and the replace the carpet to remove the splattered solids. Its a smell I can recall very easily :(

scrub with white vinegar , then wait till dry and powder heavily with baking soda then vacuum , still off ?
real vanila extract and pray

try a large amount of bicarb soda in the boot, apparently can absorb the smell.
