I love the twin airboxes with air feeds straight through the bonnet. What a wicked track weapon! Wish the Ford boys would come up with something like that

im sure if you gave FPV 500,000 bucks to play with they could come up with something like that for you.

Ford just arent stupid enough to waste that much money on something you will never get a return on.

And before someone says halo car, they already had the monaro GTS and no one was complaining about HSV's lack of a performance image.

So is it up for sale again? Or is that an old ad that has been posted up?
I'd have it in a heartbeat.

Brodfloyd - No return on the investment? It did well in Nations Cup and allowed Brock his 10th Bathurst win when it was illegal as all hell.

Financial Return mate.

He didnt race this car, he raced something totally different and they developed this thing to try and get around homogulation rules so that they could continue to race it.

It was a money pit for holden. a glorious money pit, but still a money pit

As it is - legitimately it couldnt be registered in nsw. Solid seats, no airbag/metal steering wheel, Surge tank on the inside of the car (fuel tank aswell!), bonnet pins.
Put a few k into it and it could be a road registered perfectly legal street car.

HDT Monza R/T? They could build them with 427 engine option for bulk $$$ years ago.

The red one ad is the only official Holden one released for sale to the public (one example only).

Just reading on LS1 that this isn't a true HRT427. It's missing a fair few parts from the car at the motorshow and the real 427 will be in Holden's hands untill the end of time.

Isn't that the "production" car which raced at the Bathurst 24hr and beat all the
megadollar supercars and then ruined the whole category? As much money as
Holden spent on this, it's a "cheap" way to give any car legendary status. Try
again Holden!
