Default Looking for the official colour name of the Blue used for Ford Logo.

Hello

Can someone tell me what the blue is called that is used in the ford logo?

I want to match up a vinyl to the colour.

Thanks in advance!

There's 2 shades of blue in the modern logo.

No, I don't know the name of either.

Try asking the Ford Discovery Centre. They love questions like that :hihi:

I found an old Ford logo that has the colour as a Pantone 294. If you're talking about vinyl stickers, just tell them that number and they should be able to match it or get that exact same colour. That colour is just for printed purposes, however I remember reading somewhere that the blue in the actual badges on the car is a unique mix that only Ford knows - or those who do know are sworn to secrecy

The colour "conquer" on BF's is a pretty close match.

I thought the logo was more of a gradient than 1 or 2 colours.

Its called 'close enough is good enough'.

even if you had the name, that wouldnt help much. ask them to get the colour as close as they can, they should have a swatch book with colours to choose from. and ask for a proof or something before they wack it on your car.

Depends what you're talking about. IF its printing, they will be able to mix Pantone 294 and get it exact for you. IF its paint, I have no idea.

Well, I'm an ex-printer. Did 5 or so years and then decided to try my hand at something else. Was a good start in life.
