After a few months absent from the club (mostly due to spending time with a new partner and a bit of interstate travel) I'm gonna be coming along. Up for discussion at the moment with the missus whether I'm bringing my ute to show with the club (which means bringing 2 cars between us to bring her and her 2 kids) or just coming along in her car with the kids for a nose around (she has a silver BA XR6 - I picked a winner hey!)

I've been looking around a few sites and other groups that are going to Geelong and everyone is meeting at Sheel Westgate.
The car park there is not going to be big enough for all of us. I was thinking maybe we could meet up on Kororoit Creek road, just on the side of the road after the off ramp? What do you guys think? I can just see it's gogin to be chaos with around $100 cars meeting there.

Just after the the point cook exit, being the next exit passing Shell, there is also a car park that even the Hoppers guys could go to!

Sorry mate haven't got a Map with me but there is a bridge going off the next turn off. Turn right there, travel couple of hundred metres down the road, and on the left hand side there are plenty of carpark spaces and under lights too.

from the website "Owners of cars to be judged must have their entry form lodged at the Kiwanis Administration Tent before 10.30am" I believe that it is also preferred that everyone has the correct money upon entry to quicken things up- as you probably can recall the entry doesnt allow for too many cars to line up along the road as the highway is just down the end of the road Oh...my parents went to the pre-dinner tonight- did anyone from the club go???
