The garbage that is deemed 'newsworthy'...
Wow, MSN is reporting on a person that tipped $2000 in a restaurant. Big bloody deal..... my life has changed for the better after this useful information! Comments on articles that need you to log in via FB etc. The growing amount of mistakes being found in online articles... Just saw something about 'worlds ugliest cars'.. would it be too hard to apply the local model names to the cars not what they are called in The 'States / Europe / Asia seeing as it's on an Aussie site?

Sadly, society has been dumbed down to the point where most people get their education and opinions based on current media trends. Time to bring back sale of the century! But they won't. |

Another change I hear is in the news updates on the radio.
They used to say "police officers", now its "the cops". They would always use terms like "2 caucasian males", now you hear "2 blokes". Sounds like I'm reading the bloody news |

I hate Canberra drivers on the Kingston foreshore. I live here and every day is a gamble about what stupid things people will do. Tonight for example there are 4 cars parked on the road on our Quay, it's a road not a parking spot! i might go and snap a picture.

People who join this fantastic forum for the sole reason to have a whinge about their Ford, why its a piece of junk, tar all dealers with the same brush and say how its the last time they will buy a Ford and then are never to be heard from again.
I know things don't always go right with cars but the above doesn't really contribute to the forum other than provide a vent for the OP to slag Ford and its dealers. Just so negative to read. Oh well, I suppose I could always not read it but.....

Don't know if it's been said.
I really hate establishments that use an EFTPOS name that has no correlation to the business. Buy dinner from Oporto last night and it comes up 'Maxyan enterprises' as an example... Hate it at tax time and hate it when I notice a transaction after a week and think I've been scammed.

I rang card services to be told it was a brothel. My supervisor went up to the customer and said "talk to your husband about it". Who'd be dumb enough to be married and use a credit card for that sort of meal?

Waiting at an intersection, waiting to turn onto a road. Car goes past and driver is drinking something in a can. Pull out behind them and a hundred meters down the road, watching the filthy grub open their window and drop the can directly down onto the road.
I got no problem with someone throwing an apple core or banana skin into bush land, but I seriously wished that I would have been able to ram him when I saw him drop that can. For that matter - geez I hate maccas bags being dropped along my street. We need some tougher anti-littering laws I think.

Had I been on a bike, I may very well have done that. The ramming would have been a more immediate retribution.

I don't throw anything inorganic out the window. The passenger side floor of my car is usually a mixture of wrappers, junk mail, cans, bottles and Iced Coffee cartons and has to be cleaned out periodically when either you can't see the floor any more or my car gets visitors, lol. In fact my missus is doing that very thing right now as I type this as she wants to take my car for a school excursion and will have some school kids in the car.

[Rant on] I would like to meet the person who decided that it was appropriate to take a normal photo / film clip, separate it into thirds, blur the two outside parts and just use the centre third, and then I would give them one hell of a ***** slap up the side of the head.[/Rant]. I hate the look and it does not save band width.
Cheers Vincenzo

If it's the style I'm thinking of then if you watch the blurry part closely you'll just see it's a blown up version of what you're watching in that middle third anyway,

Go to my local Bunnings last night around 8pm to buy 2 items.
Heaps of 'Item A', none of 'Item B'.... Guy pulls out his little electronic device and tells me that 'Item B' is in stock at the closest Bunnings which is 7km away. Sweet. Hop into my car and drive there. Didn't bother with 'Item A' as it is a generic item and I wanted all the stuff on the same receipt. Arrive and grab all of 'Item B'. Can't find 'Item A'. Look for around 15 min. Call over a guy and ask. He then pulls out his little electronic device and promptly tells me that 'Item A' is in stock in the next Bunnings that's 7km away... i.e. the one I just came from.... Really.... by this time it was too late to drive back as they were closing at 9... And what's worse... Not getting 'Item C' for the wife after she reminded me several dozen times prior to leaving....

Drivers who creep forward at red lights then drive off slowly when the light turns green.
