$20 entry fee. ALL money raised on the day is donated to The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

What a great way for her to celebrate her birthday by getting to look at some great cars and having an enjoyable day out in the sun. :evil3:

Maybe a B Series night meet the night before for those staying down sydney?
Just something quiet and easy, maybe a meet up and run to Harry's Cafe de Wheels. There are usually a few nice cars out there on a Saturday night.

You young guys have no sense of adventure.

About 20 years ago I bought my wife a new fishing rod for her birthday, unfortunately she hates fishing so I had to use it.

Then 4 years ago I took her to Dubbo for the weekend on her birthday. For a car show

I wonder what wonderfull thing I can do for her in October this year for our 30th wedding anniversary :

Maybe take her to see the V8's at Bathurst :, dinner for two by bonfire light, yelling of a ****ed yobbos in the background and the smell of burning tyres

That's a good idea, doesn't always work out!

The Coachman's a good spot. I had a discussion with Meg, Greg & Frank recently about The B Series Motor Meet in general, like where, when, what and all the other stuff.
I guess the thing to do is start a thread posing some questions for all and see and where it heads. Some conclusions that will draw the membership to a venue is the best outcome for all. I would say we cant' please everybody and the Motor meet should go where the are economies of scale (considering public liability insurance, cost of travel & accommodation for attendees). If we get it wrong with just one of these issues we will not have much of a following.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

It certainly is all sealed, heaps of bends and turns. Watch out for all the bike riders, they love it aswell and so do the cops that chase them
