As for the light, if I put it under ultraviolet light, it could make it look purple, that doesn't make it purple. The light in the pic was reasonably bright (good photography light) sunlight late in the afternoon (after our cruise) with the sun coming over my shoulder. In other words it is the Gecko in all her natural beauty (yes Kerri, definately a she, miss treat her and she bites hard). Yes the colour does vary in extremes of light (very bright sunlight, dark conditions or artificial light) but surely it is in average light that a colour's characteristics are judged. If not, Lightning Strike is actually red, well it is when you look at in the red light district of Kings Cross.

By the way Tori, still not grumpy, just enjoying debate like I always do :king:

Sorry Lynton, I voted 'yellow' only because I know mine is definately green!
Toxic on the other hand looks a darker shade. Apoligies for the exploitation of my first born but this was it at the show.

Yes you are a grumpy man... and you are making me pout again. :(

I don't want to debate about lighting techniques - did you read my post It was as close as I could come to agreeing with you.

By the way I hope you are not insuinating that my car has been to the red light district of Kings Cross?

And as for Steele... I wish I had never introduced you.

You can have different shades of green without one of them having to be classed as yellow, toxic is a different shade and not the subject of the poll.

Obviously Steele is of the same opinion as the Ford man that did my rego papers.

Of course I am not insuinuating anything of the sort, just painting a lighting picture for comparison.

Why can't you say it Tori? It is really easy, just repeat after me "Yes Lynton, you are right, it is green". See, very easy!

Because my dear friend - I have 75% of the vote on my side which means I never ever ever ever have to admit that. I was just trying to take the high road and find a mutually agreeable point of view so your ego does not suffer from being proved wrong. :

Interesting point is the majority of posts since the pics of the comparison have actually been in the favour of green. Wonder what would happen if the poll was reset now?

Mate, enjoy.. its a nice colour (like my favourite ice block). For a new colour though,Toxic doesn't look that much different, just a bit darker / greener.

Dont worry Lynton loves his car and its colour. This is just a personal "discussion" that he has made public in the hope that he will be proved right - and it backfired

I dont see how it could be yellow at all. It is deffinately green. My car is registered as red, but is sparkling burgundy. Get it right QT.

Talking colour

On my Queensland rego papers they call my car "green"
In some lights it looks more greener than others, but I am colour blind and I just think it stands out. My stupid cousin from the dark side said it looks like the undercoat colour and they forgot to top coat it.
Anyway, it is a safe colour, it stands out, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I have this argument with the missuss all the time, I reckon its green :

Doesn't bother me if it's green or yellow .... it's one hell of an ugly colour to start with. Dunno why you chose it. hee hee hee.

But I voted green ... cos when you actually put a YELLOW next to it ... the green is more predominant.

Ok, Lynton enough with the car v's yellow bike scenario.

What I would really like to see is your car next to something very very green... can you do that for me?
