once again...im 6.2 and I have no idea what everyone is talking about.....seriously. My wife is shortish...and she has to have the seat at its maximum height adjustment.....so theres some bogas visual perceptions to this whole seat issue i swear.

The seat height thing is well documented too, I think I read on here about a company that fits lower rails or something to address this. |

I'm with you. I'm 6.2 and 95kg, and haven't come across a bad seating positon since owning my FG. The only thing I can think of is that all the comments on the 'low' steering wheel is more apparent in the auto (usually all reviews are of the auto) because you could potentially have your left leg up or back towards the drivers seat more often then in a manual? But for me, I find it quite comfy being 'closer' to the steering wheel.

I have to be honest I haven't compared these two personally but from the footage I believe the falcon wins on the interior and styling hands down The commadore is a bucket. Not that I like the falcon model that much but compare it to the ugly commadore that has a horrid bonnet and a distracting what looks to be a touch screen and crappy interior.Lets face it if you were not aware the falcon was dated design wise you wouldn't pick it.Except for the touch screen which should be illegal in my opinion anyway

Using a stopwatch over 10 attempts, best I could manage was 5.3 in that vid. Averaged 5.5...

So just like in the vid- all you need to see is the speedo needle hitting 100 in warp speed. For all we know, it sat there wheel spinning but was physically doing 60 klmh........lol All these speed tests are bs until you start seeing repeatable real track times. Mind you....if the GTS can reel off a fairdinkum 4 sec time....that is formidable. |

If it can do a genuine sub 4 second time, my hat would be tipped and I would be putting the coins away to get one in a few years time.

I cannot comprehend how it can do a sub 4sec 0-100 time in full road trim (factory tyres, all seats nothing stripped from the car).4.5-4.9 sec 0-100 time would be very respectable and what I would expect.

Stock R Spec has done 4.5 seconds. Taking my blue glasses off why wouldn't an intercooled car with 20 inch rims, better tyres, specially designed half shafts to reduce axle tramp, 4 way switchable dynamic stability control and perhaps most importantly 430 kw and 740 nm's stock do better ?

In direct comparisons it has not achieved that time again and was actually slower than the SRT8. Anyway, who cares about 0-100km/h times??? With the dollars you're spending 1/4 mile and track times are a better indication of the cars performance. |

You'd know better than me, it's not the lack of power, but mechanical grip and weight to get the traction in order to get off the line that quickly. If it can genuinely so a sub 4 sec, it will be the performance bargain of all time, 100K for that performance is quicker than the M5 and AMG.

So whilst it may be quicker than its cheaper SS and R8 brothers.........i wouldnt expect the GTS to be substantially quicker. But any big boofy 4 door sedan that can do sub 5 sec 0-100 is incredible regardless and deserves respect. |

SC FPV and F6 are bloody brilliant cars for far more reasonable money and turbo 6's are the high performance bargain of the century in my opinion. Back on topic it'll be interesting to see if Ford squeeze some more power out of the turbo six with the 2014 update, not like they need too as it already spanks the SS for performance, but why not rub some salt into the wound for good measure ? |
