If you where unfortunate enough to get them wrapped up in The Age, you'd spend the next 30 minutes trying to find the chips and a place big enough to put them. |

Also, the icy pole Lickety Split. Anyone remember those? The sheets of licorice squares (about 2cm X 2cm), which I used to chew and spit out, pretending I was an American Cowbow! LOL! Also loved the pop rocks. Also loved chicadees, which I've seen around from time to time in various forms, but not like the ones from the 80's. The Allens lollies in my parents take away shop (we had a lolly counter) were absolutely awesome. Aaah memories. GK

GI Lime Cordial - Thats been gone for a few years too - that was the best cordial flavour as a kid, now in my mid 20's I have to settle for normal lime cordial...

That was only a trial item. Wasn't available at all Maccas stores... The caramel shake was chosen over the iced coffee shake - and that was launched in late 2010, ended march 2011. Over the next few months Maccas will be rolling out new cold drinks, which will include a coffee flavoured chilled beverage which will be right up your alley so its back (kind of) in some form. Also coming back are shaker fries for some time, mcfeast deluxes and new mcflurrys

Deli Cups and the original Milo Bars were brilliant.
Smith Bega Cheese potato chips, Smokey bacon Thins, Moncheros as well... Computer games with a storyline... Both Big Heaven and Honeycomb (NOT Choc honeycomb) Big Ms. Paddlepop Lion ice creams. Scribblers. Coffee Gaytimes. I saw somebody say, "Chickadee". I do remember them. I used to hove into them back in the 80s... I also miss Tangy Cheese Twisties. Cheddar Pringles are also pretty damn similar to Cheez-Ums if not the same! I started the "Bring back Cheez-Ums Pringles" group on Facebook FYI... I wish Cotton On sold nice, fairly plain polo shirts rather than ****** t-shirts with stupid patterns all over them... Sega Game Gear...

I know its not a food as such but more a restaurant that served food. But I sorely miss the KFC and Pizza Hut dine in all you can eat Restaurants I remember pigging out bigtime at those places and used to love them. Sizzle just isnt the same

The joy of munching into a Poptart only to scald your mouth. Was I the only one who created a moderately warm outside with a magma centre?
