Climb Dance - Ari Vartinen in a Peugeot 405T16 Group B monster takes on Pikes peak.
Rendezvous - Claude Le Louche classic, ferrari blasting across Paris pre dawn. (you can see where Getaway in Stockholm came from)
Either of these short movies is infinitly more entertaining than Shrek with a suntan driving ricers.

Like the Supra with bodykit and no rear wing. But trying to find a turbo one is like trying to find a real GTR in Chappell Street.

omfg... just watched that film of the pug group b on pikes peak... hell yeah, there should still be group b wrc today, and just build proper crowd protection... im sure people would still watch from 50 metres back from the track... knowing they could watch that kind of racing... who elsewould like to see it return, along with group c touring cars... hell yeah...

Heh, The general consensus on the Group B cars, due to their combination of light weight, *brutal* power and unsophisticated driver aids (Ie no computer controlled diffs!) was that even the best drivers could only drive tham at 80-90% of the cars capabilities...
Picture this. Double the power of the WRC cars, 300+ kg lighter and no traction!

Bring back the Horsepower wars, and evil handling crude devices!

No I'm serious, I listened to it again through my 5.1 system, then my headphones, and the old Dodge still just sounds generic, doesn't do anything for me
Supra FTW

Sorry Biggoggs : , I just can't imagine anyone thinking that the sound of a hair dryer equipped whipper snipper sounds better than any V8 let alone a blown big block.

Running On Empty gets my vote for best classic car flick, even with the bad acting and shonky cinematics. It is all about the cars. "It's a sweet sensation"

That 57 chev was apparently genuinly good for nines at the time.... now given the available rubber, thats QUICK.....

I'm sorry but I loved F&F...Just the sheer size and intimidating factor of Vin diesel, mixed with the bad girl image of Michelle rodrigez. Then there's the cars, although I'm a V8 man. I still appreciate a car with time energy and money invested into it. My 2c worth....p.s, I smoked one blue RZ the other day too...Cheers.

They had one decent car in the movie, then decided to total it. What a waste.
Yep I agree.

Why waste 900 Horses of Detroit Muscle?

Its not fair damn it.

Also for the love of god I hope the Mustang with the RB25/26 isnt used in that new F & T F. I think I would throw up hearing the sound of a RB in a Mustang when a 302 should be making the sound.

I think its good people do things like that that are out of the norm.

Anyone can put a 302 in a mustang after all.
Its not like they dropped a 350 Chev in the stang, that would just be wrong!

There is a difference between wrong and different.

Uh I dont know about anyone else but a 350 Chev in a Mustang is a hell of alot better then a RB engine.

Atleast its still a ground thumping V8, which is what a Mustang deserves not a Jap Turbo 6.

Plenty of power, but the extra weight over the front couldn't help much.

i personly like bullitt and so on, the classics, original gone in 60 seconds, but i do have a film clip, which i love, no commentary, brilliant, piece of driving by Ari Vartanen in his peugeot 405 turbo, pikes peak record breaking run. I just love turning up the surround sound and just listening.........and dreaming lol
