As far as the busted Cruiser yep, serious as a heart attack...
As for E10 being dangerous....

I have no idea about fuels, other than just to go on personal experience with my Turbo Falcon. Ive tried from 91-98 over the years and found;
91 - definitely worst for my car (performance and economy). 95 and E10 95 - notice no difference whatsoever. 98 - best economy, but don't feel any performance benefit. So in a nutshell, I don't have any issue with E10 and run it when 98 gets too high down here in Tassie. I have never understood all the negativity and my car is high Ks with no dramas (tough wood), but then all cars are different. As for the failure of the GT, no idea and hard to know without hard facts of what has happened. |
