placing the bar through the roll (which I will say took some doing, cant drill the paper) reminded me of when I was young and silly (dinosaur days indeed).
we used to put gladwrap over the bowl and close the seat (not lid)......come to think of it, that went down like a lead ballon as well!!!!!

I used to think it was best against the wall, out of the way, but now she only buys patterned paper, explaining that it has to be put on so you can see the pattern, so away from the wall. As for the seat, I moved in with her, so have always considered it her house( even now, 26yrs and 10 or so houses later )so I always put it down... But, I put the lid down too, so we both have to lift something to have a pee. I like to think of it as a little win.

what the ........ are you digging this up for? get back to work. Very funny though.
I know of a married couple who went for counselling over this issue....sufice to say both now gone their seperate ways...thank goodness. Both were a bain to know as friends.
