back in a previous time, young and not a care in the world, 6 of us hauled 2 rubber duckys and 2 tractor tyres & basic food, way up past Craigburn station into the head waters of Wiamak river. Then spent 3 days all the way down to the coast.
Hells bells never again, while a lot was huge adrenalin rush at times we were quietly sh**ting ourselves esp through the gorge, but over all it was one of those crazy moments you never forget. Then the film Lord of the rings in part of same locality.

"Boss Truck" 12V71 Tyrone Malone's rig. (or a very good copy.)
Think he later had it re painted, then it was severely damaged by fire at his lock up. Story here......http://forums.aths.org/76172/Tyrone-Malone?PageIndex=1

Went looking back through some old pics taken over the coast, motorcycle trips/raced at Greymouth Street races a few times back in the day, came across this taken moons ago, of great great Grandfathers resting spot over there which seems more relevant to topic.

26-inch thick armor from a Japanese Yamato class battleship, pierced by a US Navy 16-inch gun. The armor is on display at the US Navy Museum. pic hosting
