Thats exactly what I was told when I went to a defensive driving course. Also the case when you hear about someone crashing into a single individual tree in the middle of nowhere.

A driving instructor once told me
"the brake is your friend"
I'm sure the driver had ample opportunity to visit that friend.

and what if the tree wasnt there. he would have went rolling down the ramp, possibly through the house and done himself some damage, not only to the car, but to himself as well.

Looking at the opposite lock on the front wheels plus long skid marks, must of through he could drive out of the drift. All you really need to do it left of accelerator with these cars & it will correct it self most of the time.

Most of the idiot Platers in NSW try hiding them behind their number plate with only the smallest amount of red or green showing.

It used to be an offence to do that which for a plater meant loss of license : maybe the cops just can't be bothered anymore. Personally the less platers on the road, the safer I feel - its always loony land during school holidays when all the kids come out to play :

Follow the conversation - Co8ra said all that is missing is a P-plate - no one said he actually was, but due to obvious stupidity he really should be.
