i kinda like the idea, only thing that lets it down is the rear end and the bad stripes!
Maybe if the front bar had a few differances between the GT bar, and some nice skirts and a lip for the rear bar, it would look very tough! I see it to be a pointless excersise though, might as well have bought a GT for the price, interior, exterior... doesnt make sence. cheers rob |

Ruined a perfectly goot G220? From what? From being an underpowered over weight 4WD height grandpa car that's tarted up to be something it's not?
I'm not a fan of the stripes, but good on him. Looks heaps better. Get a 260 or 290 in there and it'd be perfect. |

Apart from the stripes I actually quite like it. Would like to see more bulky side and rear skirts however. Nothing wrong with the 3 valve engine either in modified form. They respond quite well to a tiggle ;)

The guy next door has a G220 & I think it looks great, its white with tinted glass & looks very smart.
The GT body kit on the G220 looks good too but, the strips & the grey highlight's "to me" don't suit that car. But well done anyway... |

Looks horrible IMO.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If the owner loves it - then I'm happy for them |

Looks great, except for the grey highlights and stripes which makes the front look abit un-organised.
as mentioned before quad exhaust pipes out the back and a 260 or 290 boss motor. at least he didnt put stripes on the bulge.

Can anyone find any pics of the FPV Galaxie? I googled around and couldn't find any... FPV should of made one of these with a more powerful motor than the GT.
Just to have a large flagship model like other european brands make (Eg. AMG). It would also compete against the Grange and would probably sell alot more than a standard Fairlane/LTD. Although the rear end of the Fairlane/LTD should of come out much nicer than it did. Should of stretched the tail lights more into the centre like previous models did. My 2 cents... |

i think if he kept the fairlane headlights and bonnet..
gave it a tickle in the engine department and got some nice black leather trim instead of GTP seats.. it would look hot as.. would make it more a sportyer bodykit'ed fairlane /G220 rather than a GTP with a longer *** end.. i like it over all tho.. the stripes.. im undecided on.. still aint got ИИИИ on mine im trying to decide what to do with the front end of mine.. thinking a BA XR front bar but keeping the stock headlights.. IF one can fit.. as im keen for some driving lights.. just adds a lil more class..(my mate has a WH statesman(2000 model) and its dark green and looks hot cruising along with him..(2 green limousines ...always suspicious)

i dont like the stripes or the front bar i reckon it should have been left alone... he should have just done wheels and lowered it some more that way its more PIMPED just what a G220 was designed for

I like the basic idear of the car. But having GTP stich into the seat is a bit much & seem out of place.
