It would be great if one of the mags did a reprint of articles of each model release review within a edition ?
Wheels have been running an online feature 56 years of Falcon in 56 days. Basically they've re-published one review or comparison each day from the XK right through to FGX. They're up to FG at the moment I think, has been pretty good.

Spoken for truth
I posted the same on FB.
If 10 years of ridiculous comparisons with Euro trash are not enough now they want the carcass to provide their last sales hurrah?
Not happening

For anyone interested, the latest edition of Motor has a guest column written by David Flint, MD of TVE/FPV.

An interesting read and reminisce for fans of the Tickford/FPV era.

2004 V8 supercar season, they had many engine failures including the last race of the season at Eastern Creek, Craig Lowndes finished 20th or close to it in the championship, the following year he was with 888

Pass on Wheels thanks. They can't get 3 pages right on a Falcon not gonna read nearly 200 pages of whatever they come up with.

For those that can past the emotional hurdle of buying a magazine you may wish you'd bought in 10 years time grabbed both Motor and Wheels at Coles Express $14 the pair. 10 years I'll let my now too young boy read them in the hope he 'gets' what life was like with an Aussie option and get a feel for how our generation felt and that dad isn't just dribbling crap! ;)

Prodrive in the UK thought they could do a better job of building the V8 Supercar engines - they were good hand grenades!

G'day all...I picked up a copy of Wheels with the Ford stories especially a couple of days ago...My verdict...It's okay I suppose...some interesting angles covered .
That said , this mob never bloody quit in reference to the AU . On several occasions the habitual dreary comments on one of Ford's best (as it turns out) offerings seem to rise up..
One of the reasons the AU was on the back foot was because of these pillocks who made such a massive fuss about the looks , despite the engineering advances of the car..
Time has proven the AU to be one of the most robust and reliable of all the birds and this didn't seem to get any real mention...Really disappointed with that..
I'm glad the magazine paid homage to several significant individuals but what about Geoff Polites...Noooooo...I would have thought he might have got a guernsey in the article entitled Men That Made Falcon Fly...
Bloody Bill Ford got a mention there..WHY!!!!!!!....According to their own comments he was the catalyst that started the downhill slide and Alan Mulally finished it off..
I'll put it away read it occasionally and get mad at the lack of love for the AU..Travesty in my opinion but then again I'm a tad biased..
Cheers Rod..
