We know from previous posts that Rodge won't take you up on your challenge. He's got "heaps of racetrack experience in my younger days as part of my involvment with the Auckland University motorcycle club at Pukekohe racetrack", but seems to not want to put his money (or his pride) where his mouth is.

EDIT: And before I get criticised for being harsh on the guy, I just wanted to raise the point that I'm not on here saying my car is quicker than a GT-F. This is a great opportunity to get the two cars (SRT8 that we've heard so much about recently and GT-F) on-track, on the same day, in the same conditions and do a AFF comparison, which would provide some real-world results to a lot of the keyboard test driver discussions here, so the idea has merit.

surprisingly rodge was a no-show at the drags but there was 2 srt 300c's both never cracked a sub 13 sec pass

Not knocking the bloke, I don't know him and clearly you do. IMHO it wasn't about the defending of what was in his driveway, it was the off-topic posts and bashing of what was in everyone else's driveway that got some off-side.

You might be more understanding of that than others, having had good dealings with him in the past. But for someone who doesn't know him from a bar of soap some recent discussions might not have left the same impressions you had.

I feel ya mate thanks for posting buddy it's been a long time for me on AFFs..

I don't no Rodge personally mate it's just many moons ago Rodge was a big contributor to people that have just started on AFF, sorta like a mentor if ya no what I mean..

I'm just one out of a few that don't forget things and wanted people knowing that Rodge to me is just a passionate car lover!!

I said this many years ago he's one I would want on my team if we went to war! Ha ha

Anyway it's a forum and it's in the pub!!! Most of it..
