Mine are just the plates my father had on his first car, and every car right through until he passed away I figured as he was attached enough to keep them for 48years it would only be the decent thing to take them over.

I ran them on my XP and then on the 38 until I put it on H Plates

There in hold now but will be going on my daily shortly

This is my current ride with my plates on it.

To help work it out, my wife's name is Kerry.

And she has KANDC1 on the tezza.

Had these since around 2000. And I have an extra set (sssshhh, don't tell Vicroads ) that adorns the study wall.

I can see how it would be hard to understand too bro...this one is a Xf Ghia 87 model. And the ute is powered by a 250 hence sly250.

My plates, DB330 currently on my old Rodeo ute, have been in my family for 76 years. They were first issued to my Grandfathers straight 8 Buick in 1938, since then they have passed from my Grandfather to Grandmother, Father, Mother, to myself.

Over the years the have been screwed to a Buick, a Vauxhall, a Woolsley, an Escort van, 2 Hyundai's, a Daewoo, an Isuzu 4WD ute, and a Rodeo ute.

I would like to fit them to my Territory but they don't look as good as the standard issue narrow European style plates.

Although not technically personalised plates..... We can have the older R&S series plates on our cars here in SA but must have 3 Letters/ 3 Numbers starting with R or S of course as long as they haven't been registered to a car for 5 years or more....

So got myself Straight 6

Personalised Plates Queensland have a layby facility. Personalised plates have 4 months to pay and prestige have 7 months. They have reserved the plate above but can change it as many times as I like 'till the last payment is made. If I choose to cancel, there is a $100.00 fee... I would have preferred FPV GTF but that was already taken.

The best Plates I've seen was on the way up to the Sunshine Coast. This old beat up VW Beetle was driving in front of me. The driver was on his P's and stuck the P plate beside the number plate. The Plate read P I55 0FF.
