I'd hate to see what people would whinge about if they saw the Dubai police force vehicles. Astons, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Bentley's, a Shelby Mustang GT500 and they even have a Veyron on order.

And they don't even need to enforce the law, they are just used as promotion/goodwill vehicles just like this R spec is.

Rather my tax money go to a proper Aussie car, rather then a Hyundai.

Great promotion tool bridging the gap between car enthusiasts and the police. Would much rather tax dollars going to this than alot of other things.
Good luck with the school fair!

Would love to see at least any sort of falcon as a police car here in NZ. NZ Govt dropped the falcon for police cars in the early 2000s, AU were our last falcon police cars. Just poverty pack commys now, still some VY police cars here, but mostly VE.

BTW, nice pics mate, DJ looks happy. He is one man I would love to meet one day!

Cheers,

Brendon

Saw that car at Homebush last year at the V8's. They did a few laps, and on a couple of them they were pushing the limits of grip accelerating out of the corners.....

Good to see it is still going, I was hoping it would be at Supernats on Saturday.
Great promotional tool, and is also great when they bring it to events. Helps break down the barrier between car enthusiasts and the police.

1. It would be a loaner from FPV
2. Services performed on the vehicle are usually donated by the business
3. It will never chase a car in it's life, it's a promo car
4. It will breed a new generation of Ford fans
5. It's all part of the police trying to appear as humans just like you and me.

Now if someone want's to go and do a list of all the negatives then feel free.............

It's not a loaner, it was purchased like most other police cars are and will be retained by NSWP when it's retired

As xxx000 has stated, the car will perform normal HWP dutys, just like all the rest. Then will be retired to the police as a display, & promotional car..
