just get in there and give it a crack mate, cant do too much wrong.
Just mask off properly, give them a good scrub with a wire brush, and paint away. I wanted mine green, but couldn't find high temp green paint. So i bought some red high temp paint and did a few base coats, then slapped green over the top. I'v been to a couple of track days and have even boiled my brake fluid, but the paints been fine. It's an easy job and you'll feel great after you give it a shot
