Same with Freddo frogs, caramello koalas, the spicy fruit rolls, in fact, most of Arnott's biscuits, and probably 90% of nestle products too...They got smaller, but their price got bigger... ...I feel like such a pig eating a whole packet...but they're just not 'filling' anymore...

Raspberry frogs that actually tasted like RASPBERRY and not plastic.. come to think of it, any flavored lollie that didn't taste like plastic!
like said previously the McDonald's iced coffee thick shake was the best for a hangover. And i cant remember the brand name but found a really old rusted can of "Bug and Tar Remover" but it was amazing, wasn't anything it couldn't remove, had a bit of dynamat tar stuck to a seat, let it soak for 30 seconds and it wiped straight off with out damaging the fabric, even got chewing gum out of a jacket i had! |

What's in a maccas shake -
Whole milk, sucrose, cream, nonfat milk solids, corn syrup solids, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, imitation vanilla flavor, carrageenan, cellulose gum, vitamin A palmitate. Not scary at all. |

The original Peters Jelly Tip, not the crappy one now being sold, nowhere near as good as the old one.
Cherry Coke, the one from Asia always tasted better than the one here, no wonder the one here didn't sell. KFC Barbecue Chicken, do any KFC stores sell this still?? |

The old Peters natural Yogurt, it was a proper sour European type not this creamy rubbish most come out with....the only thing that is close is the Coles brand stuff.
New wave hair gel, only stuff that could keep my hair inline especially when long. I've found tubes but they're on the other side of Melbourne. The chocolate topping they use to use on Krispy Kreme doughnuts, they use some sorta concrete flavoured ice magic stuff now. So the only real doughnuts I would have bought and actually enjoyed is now gone.

Proper $1 bags of lollies, what they put in them now is an absolute disgrace.

@Krytox - I think you can still get Hot Pockets, they just call them Pizza Pockets now and they're made my McCain.
I loved those Donkey Kong ice creams they made in the mid 90's. They were sort of like Bubble O' Bills, but in the shape of Diddy and Dixie Kong's faces. And Witch's Brew bubblegum. +1 for Polly Waffles, too. |

I wish they still had Old English Toffee conniseur icecream. By far it was the best in the range, it had pecans and beautiful rich choc fudge all through. I always mean to contact them and ask why they got rid of it, but still sell crap like cookies and cream, honey macedamia etc. They still make cafe grande (coffee icecream with choc coated almonds and i think gran mania flavour sauce) when that goes I will truly be annoyed.
Also red roosters chicken cheese and bacon. It was all we got from them and no one else is close. Finally, Hazelnut Roll. My gran always kept a box in the freezer, when they went, it she replaced them with the above mentioned Conniseaur flavours. Gran always knew how to please lol. I finally found some pop rocks the other day, as well as some big red gum at this little sweets store. I think my mouth was crackling for a good couple of hours the other night!
I miss those sherbert filled tubes you could buy for like 10c each, oh and ghost drops! We'd pool our lunch money (Grand total of $5) and go buy the WHOLE FRIGGIN BOX! Then mow through 100+ lollies after school This is going back 10 years or so but I remember when a $1 bag of lollies would consist of: 3+ Snakes A handful of freckles (chocolate buttons with 100's & 1000's on top) Jelly Babies Jelly Beans Bananas Milk bottles Pinapples Those cherry things with the milko base Looking back, my childhood wasn't that bad compared to todays kids. There were two healthy cereals, Weet-bix and Corn flakes, the rest were Fruitloops, Coco-Pops and anything else that would now give the nanny-brigade a heart attack. Mum didn't buy Nutella because it contained X percent of some dietry intake I needed, she bought it because when I ate it I emulated the grin of that smug little bastard you'd see happily munching away on a nutella-caked piece of bread... and for those brief few moments of bliss, I wasn't either A.) Talking or B.) trying to deconstruct the house and it's appliances.
