Any 17" wheels would be good too ie. for track day wheels?
As slick tyre selection are easier to source in 17".

It aint gonna happen mate, 17 inch rims and Brembos do not mix unfortunately.
Unless you can make your own rims with the correct offset and pcd that is

All is not lost with 17" wheels as you can run 4 piston AP Racing calipers and 330mm rotors under 17" wheels if needed

That's gorgeous. Exactly what I plan to use them for too. 19" rubber is too expensive for drift days

I haven't sold one in a while because everyone is fitting 355mm kits or larger BUT we have some 4 piston kits with either a AP Racing or Brembo caliper that use a 330mm to 336mm rotor that some 17" wheels fit over but these front kits generally cost about $3150 or so.

I am just trying to fit some Brembo 4 pot calipers with 355mm rotors over my 18inch Speedy Infernos and unfortunately they are not clearing.

Clutching At Straws Dept:
According to Bendix and other sources, the Lexus IS F and a couple of Mercs also use the same front pads. Meaning that it's probably the same front caliper (ie Brembo 6 piston). http://bendix.com.au/catalogue?manuf...t=&part=DB1845 So, when searching for wheels overseas, it would seem to be useful to look for wheels that also fit: Mercedes-Benz SLK Class: Jun 2004 - NOW Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG: 2004 - NOW Lexus IS F Merc is a different stud pattern to Falcon, but the wheel shape should clear Brembos. Lexus is the same stud pattern so it's just a matter of checking the offset. I'm still looking for suitable wheels for my taxi. I decided on BA XR8 rims a while ago because I need something with a simple five spoke design that's easy to keep clean. Unfortunately, it turns out that BA XR8 drivers are completely incapable of driving more than a few metres without finding a kerb to smash into, so all the wheels that I come across are too scratched. Very frustrating. My nice shiny brand new new Brembo calipers are feeling very abandoned. The search continues... |

After spending around three months trying to find a set of rims that would clear Brembo calipers, I ended up driving 948km spontaneously one night just to get the elusive set that would suit my requirements (ie clear Brembo calipers *and* be easy to keep clean).
Photo Essay - Driving 948km just to buy some wheels! The wheels: ROH Flare 18 x 8 Not available new anymore though, but if anyone is keen then call all the ROH state managers and see if there is any old stock. There was one set of 19s at ROH WA a few weeks ago (I would have bought them but I want to stick with 18s). The 18s clear by quite a bit - it's about 11mm at the closest point. I didn't specifically choose the chrome colour but I'm rapt with it now - the wheels look great on the Lightening Strike (ie silver) taxi. Once the Hawk Performance ceramic pads have worn in and I get the rear calipers fitted (waiting for the correct brake lines) then I can start peeling passengers off the windscreen each night.

I know these fit. They're DTM Shine. They clear the Brembos on the new GT-P in on that magazine cover. (I hope the attached images worked)
