hey mate, welcome... my nickname suggests I am biased towards GM, I'm not really, i like all good cars and you will see I give credit to all brands on these forums when they are due, and bag out cars I hate (or things about them i hate). Sometimes ya go with the majority, sometimes not... but when ya don't - look out!

Hi all! Just found this thread even though i joined a week or so ago so thought I had better introduce myself.
We live in Northern NSW around Maclean Yamba area and I currently drive a 2004 Territory but ordered my new car a week or so ago so still have a few more weeks to wait, it is 2007 BF MKII XR6 Turbo in Winter White.
Its like expecting a new baby, I am just bursting in anticipation waiting for the day to come!! I have ordered grilles, stripes, seatcovers, Brembo's, 18" Wheels just about everything is here except the actual car. I have 3 kids who think their Mum is turning into a but of a "Hoon" but what the hek, its my time to enjoy myself.
Anyway this is a great site and hope to chat with you further
Cheers
Sonya

Hi all from across the ditch...........stumbled across this place recently...why was i looking...?..thursday i am picking up a BA XR6T ute,ive had a few Falcons over the years, started with an xw ute followed by an xy ute then a xygs sedan......wish id never sold it..then came a couple of xds......was lucky enough to grow up with an old man who loved Fords.....he had a beautiful XY ute that he put a 351 cleveland in with Gt interior etc, recently ive had a thing for skylines....the last being a 2 door R33 25t,anyway saved some pennys and decided to buy another ute...looked at a few SSs but the Ford thing has never left me so a Ford it is.......the other factor being my surname is Ford so would look a bit odd driving a commodore.........no real plans as yet for the ute..will biff the wheels and put some nice 19s on...lower it and go from there........enjoying the pics of you guys cars...awsome.

Arvo all,

My names Tony and im from the Dandy Ranges in Victoria.

Ive had plenty of Fords over the years including a ZF Fairlane (302), XA Fairmont (302), S2 EA S pack, S1 EA GL, NF S2 Fairlane, 59 Zepher wagon, 79 XD S Pack (Dealer S Pack before the factory caught on), 87 XF Fairmont Ghia, Another 79 XD Pov pack, 2lt 2 door Escort and my recent score an 88 S1 EA Sedan. (Pics in my gallery).

Ive been without a Ford (Unless you count the Rangie or Volvo's) now for about 4 years and I was looking for a cheap and reliable Falcon as a daily driver, Everyone said DONT touch the Series 1 EA but Ive had 2 before, one from New and one that was 2 years old and apart from fit and finish on the 88 and the Head issues with both they have always served me well.

Problem is I know bugger all about the EA's tech wise and Id like to tidy the old girl up and get her back to a reasonable condition which is why im here.

About her,

She is a White Late 89 Series 1 EA Pov pack, Duel fuel with what looks like NF seats and door cards, 250,000 ish Km and she has just had the head done.

Fairly tidy inside but the outside is getting ratty with the paint suffering blisters and generally looking crappy close up.

A few piccies coz I know forum members luuuurv piccies.

Cheers,
Tony

Cool hey

hi, everyone

Its good to know there are so many Ford fans out there being female who's into cars i'm sick of coping s*** from holden fans most of whom have no idea what their talking about. I have an EB11 falcon Gli its stock, recently changed the rubber bushes to urithane bushes and it's had a reconditioned gearbox. I intend to get the headliner fixed soon as it is sagging, so it's a work in progress.

No Holden hating here me and my holden mates always joke around and make fun of each other cars (holden v6 looks so small in engine bay compared to ford six)

Welcome aboard mate ! While most of us here love our Fords, there are always the one eyed fanatics in every crowd! While I have only ever owned one Hel.... hodl..... hend, car produced by the pussycat, I will still admire the ones that people have put their blood sweat and tears into ! Enjoy your time here and dont take people to seriously on some matters !

Yea welcome mate. This is a really good site and im sure u will be able too contribute to threads in a good way with constructive comments weather they be for or against a certain product. It doesnt matter what side of the fence you're from as long as you're a car 'enthusiest' im sure you can admire some of the oppositions products even if at times you don't like to admit it lol. :
