I think Marty was quite clear in what he was inferring. Doesn’t anybody remember the “I had my period” throwaway remark when journalists were grilling him about a loss?

Got the bulk of this little garden wall done today. A 50m commute helps.
Do the return walls tomorrow.

Im properly impressed by this. I was giving my rc car a rip around my backyard. So nothing harsh, and it lost all drive. Somehow in 1 go i snapped 3 axles and the 4th i snapped the stub axle. So for a 4x4, its 0x4. Dunno the how or why, ive already ordered the replacement parts. But yeah, dunno how catastrophic failure was acheived in an instant.

That’s a solid effort, were the axles made from recycled XF outside door handles?

I’ll cheer you up with my temporary wiring job.

My daughter is getting her Ps in 3 months, and has worked out from her school mates with licenses that she can customise the sh box pulsar I bought for her.
So we went to super cheap to look at seat covers, mats and other crap a teenager wants, and decided she needed a head unit to stream music etc. So today I install the new head unit, she is thrilled it has a “Spotify” on it whatever the hell that is.

I'm approaching 44. Today I hit the same weight when I was between 18-20. No big deal, its easy as once you accept facts.

A Maori mate from primary school that is 6'6 and was 140 kilos on my diet...

In 6 months he's lost 12 kilos and is @128 and dropping - and he drinks 20 beers per day (low carb).

It's the processed food we eat that is killing and restricting us.

Specifically it is the sugars, they are in everything.

The most insidious one is fructose, added to foods on the pretense that it is all natural....particularly breads.

Did you know orange juice has more sugar than coke?

Rose pruning.

I love pruning roses, it's one of the few things I can do with complete and utter confidence, without self doubt.

I especially love the horrified look on a customers face when I go to town and seemingly brutishness a rose.

The harder you cut, the harder they come back!

That conduit? Temporary for how long? It hurts my eyes being that far out of straight...
The axles on my rc car, i know what snapped them. It was diveline shock. I had wood board up against a wall and it will backflip off that. But i hit it too slow so to get it to rotate all the way to land flat i had to give it heaps more throttle then usual to get it to rotate, so 4 wheels spinning upwards of 70kmh and coming to an instant stop when it landed, yeah that'll do it. Its not a manufacturing fault, its just i bought the thing for something to do during this lockdown business. And more fun is had pushing limits. Plus parts are cheap and available, however its all ebay at the moment as no shops bar the essentials are open.

Some camera angle tomfoolery then. What was the drama not running it through the wall, there appears to be an existing cutout below the mounting block?

Going to saw the top of the wall off. Then move switch to a new chase on the other side. Already cut the wall box recesses.

Know any good chasers? I’m ready now. 9 metres total in the job.

Last chasing i did was renting a wall chaser from kennards. Its not that hard as theyre effectively a 2 disk grinder and adjustable for the width/depth of the desired cut. Its more cost effective then outsourcing to say concut if its just smaller things like 20x20mm down a wall.

Some form of pruning is better than none at all. The biggest mistake people make with roses is not being aggressive enough.

in a previous life back in NZ my dad loved annoying my uncle, who was president ofthe local rose society by using either the lawn mower or secateurs and bust the rose bushes down to the root stock and then get amazing flushes of blooms
